My Current Walk on My Medicine Path

My Current Walk on My Medicine Path

As I continue to do the work—to dismantle and heal the white supremacy within me, to connect with my ancestors and my heritage, to honor the unique expression of my soul and its own ancient Truth renewed and reimagined in this lifetime—I weave together the tapestry of me. Of my own healing and liberation. Of my own medicine path.

Taurus New Moon - Uranus in Taurus

And so here we are

In a time of newness

A time of upendedness

A time of Uranus in Taurus

No more playing it safe

Or keeping the shift at bay

A time of revolutionary change

Is here to stay

While fear is around

About this rebel taking ground

And the unknown change that will abound

I welcome the sound

Maybe it’s the Aquarius in me

With Uranus as my ruling planetary

I hunger for new beginnings

For revolutions and upending

This nightmarish society of ours

Has left so many deep wounds and scars

On all of our hearts

And all of Gaia’s parts

So it is damn well time for a new start

And, yes it will be hard

But we can embrace it

And make it ours

Time to step it up

No more passing the buck

If we want freedom

It is up to us

Turn inward and know thyself

Truly

Love and heal yourself

Completely

Then take that medicine

Out into the world

Boldly

Be your true self

And be no one else

Be the revolution

In all that you do

And encourage others

To be the revolution too

The Revolution Is Here

The revolution is here!

Born on the backs of babes

After gestating in the womb

Of the Divine Feminine

As she continues to rise

Our children

Our blessed brave children

Lead the way

Standing tall

Tears in their eyes

Truth pouring from their hearts

Sick of the lies

And demanding a fresh start

Their lives and liberties are at stake

And they have taken all they will take

No more!

Bowing to mindless excuses

No more!

Accepting that it is useless

To fight the powers that be

No, they recognize

That it is us

The people

Who must choose to be free

So they march and they rally

They cry and they speak

They are silent and sick

They swarm the internet

And the streets

They are demanding change

And they are not gonna wait

To be old enough to vote

To change how we legislate

To My White Sisters in the Spiritual Community

...White supremacy privileges me

And everyone else white or lite skinned too

And while we may find this disgusting

It doesn't matter if we don't address the issue

We can feel uncomfortable

We can feel guilty and sad

We can even feel horrified

Rageful and beyond mad

But what good are these feelings

If they are just felt and not acted upon

What good is it to be silent

When you know racism is wrong

As a white skinned woman

I have a responsibility

To turn that pedestal into a platform

And use it to denounce white supremacy

Because in our society my voice is more valued

And given more room to be heard

It's an ethical humanitarian obligation

To shout BLACK LIVES MATTER, and spread the word

That this hate and fear of darker skin

Is unacceptable and unwelcomed...
